2009 Pinot Noir

This is very delicate and balanced with red berry and bacon and spice. Medium body with a savory and long finish. 92/100

2009 Section 94

Mid-gold, bright; the Section 94 is gathering cult status for a daring style of Sauvignon from Marlborough, and this wine does not fail to deliver; the bouquet offers oak derived charcuterie and toast aromas, with an underlying exotic guava note; the palate is racy, fine, clearly defined and brilliantly proportioned, with a long, complex and thoroughly satisfying finish; Didier Dagueneau, the now deceased 'Wild man of the Loire' and a champion of this style of Sauvignon, would be proud.
