95 Points - Gary Walsh

What a wonderful Chardonnay. White peach and grapefruit, oatmeal and struck match, tight tracks of gleaming acidity, and a bullet of juicy refrained flavour racing down them. A little flintiness. Some cashew creaminess. A tight and mouth-watering limey finish that makes you eye the level of the glass too often, and fret over it. You’d be mad not too.

It was a good year to be organic (many say it gives vines and fruit greater disease resistance). This organically grown expression is a treat – it has weight, texture and a glorious flavour profile (lime, flint, grapefruit). It keeps on going too…persistence they call it.
