Dog Point Vineyard has won three trophies at the 2014 Six Nations Wine Challenge, the only wine show in the world where wines are entered exclusively by invitation from the judges.
Dog Point’s 2012 Pinot Noir was awarded the following trophies:
• Trophy for Wine of Show – jointly awarded to Dog Point Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012 and South Africa’s Silverthorn Blanc de Blancs 2011.
• Trophy for Red Wine of Show
• Trophy for best Pinot Noir.

Arguably the top wine of the entire tasting was Dog Point 2012 from Marlborough (tasting), a full-bodied, deep-coloured, powerful wine which made the lighter wines seem almost effete. This is a grand cru of a wine: truly magnificent.
