2012 Sauvignon Blanc

Pale gold in the glass, this wine smells of gooseberries and wet stones and lime juice. In the mouth bright lime juice, wet chalkboard and passion fruit flavours have a nice chalky quality to them that is quite pretty. Calssically styled but somewho more mineral than some marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. Wonderful acidity and balance. Nice lemony note on the finish 13.5% alcohol. 9-9.5/10

2012 Sauvignon Blanc

Very Loire nose of mineral and lemon rind with hints of grapefruit. Guava too. Wild fennel. Full to medium body with lovely fruit with a chalky texture. This comes from the 20% natural yeast fermentation. Fermented all in stainless. Bright and delicious. Screw cap. 90/100
