Huon Hooke, Pinot Noir 2010, 95/100

2010 Pinot Noir

Deep red/purple hue: excellent colour. Bright, youthful, slightly unevolved plummy aroma, deep and sound. Full and fruity in the mouth, big and bold with generous flavour and structure and needing more time to reach its peak. The tannins are quite taut and firm and while the balance is there, it will benefit from more time - even if just a year or two. Powerful, impressive stuff. 95/100
