2010 Section 94

INTRIGUING. IF there's one wine that's going to polarise a room of sauvignon blanc fans, this is it. In fact it doesn't appear like any other version you might recall. Forget the pungent passionfruit aromas of everyday sauvignon - this is all oak, wild yeasts, flinty, smoky, Asian spiced. It's challenging, sensual and ultimately unique. Value: Adventurous Food: Lemon, basil chicken Rating: 4.5/5

Charmian Smith, ODT, Chardonnay 2010 - Four Stars

2010 Chardonnay

A distinctive wine, pungent and full of flavour - floral, herbs, stone fruit, cape gooseberries, buttered toast with savoury undertones, but it is stylish, integrated and well balanced, with a long textural finish. A fine wine. Four Stars.
