A joint venture between viticulturist Ivan Sutherland and winemaker James Healy, who both worked at Cloudy Bay before going out on their own in 2003, Dog Point produceds seriously good Marlborough pinot. The vineyard had major plantings between 1991 and 1995, and there is a diverse clonal mix in the blend. medium bodied wtih red fruits and a little spice, this wine is rounded out by fine-grained tannins. Enjoy for the next five or so years.
