2011 CHARDONNAY

Really smoky, more so than the 2015. A little more oaky, but the acidity is brighter and crisper. Less rich overall than the 2015 but still some lively citrus fruit. Tight and a tough spicy on the finish. Still so youthful and even more elegant and long than the 2015.

2015 CHARDONNAY

Lovely smoky nose – more smoky than struck – match. Bags of intense, rich citrus fruit, so pure and deep in fruit and all in harmony with the reductive winemaking style and herbal/fumy notes from the wild ferment. Tastes amazing with a starter of sushi and soy sauce, which brings out the savoury side of the wine, and the delicious mealy, creamy texture.
