Pungent passion fruit and fragrant melon, Tahitian lime citrus, this really takes sauvignon to another place for Marlborough, exposing the edgy, exciting and minerally possibilities whilst embracing the rampant intensity of fruit. Great acid, mouth-watering from front to back. Drink now.
There's much at play here, it has a hazelnutty edge on the nose with flinty, restrained and dialled back citrusy fruit presence, minerally and stony, dried flowers too, clever wine. The palate has a level of weight and texture more associated with Chablis, very long, piercing, focused and glossy tight-wrapped fruit here. Great.
