The Marlborough Wine and Food Festival is New Zealand's original and longest running festival, and in 2013 will be held on Saturday February 9th.

Held at Brancott Estate in Marlborough, the festival celebrates all that's wonderful about Marlborough's premium produce with an emphasis on the region's stunning cuisine and celebrated wines.  Dog Point Vineyards are at the festival each year.

The 2013 festival is bigger and better than ever. New for 2013 is the Culinary Pavilion; the epicentre for all things food including celebrity chef cooking demonstrations throughout the day.  The celebrity line-up includes Al Brown, Shaun Clouston of Logan Brown, and the three NZ Masterchef winners Brett McGregor, Nadia Lim and Chelsea Winter.

The entertainment is great too - Avalanche City and the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra will be playing all your favourite tunes and if you want to dress up there's the fashion in the vines competition giving you the chance to dress up in your glad-rags and win some prizes while you're at it.

Tickets are $50 + booking fee via Ticketek or Picton and Blenheim i-SITE Visitor Centres.  For more info
