Rating 5 stars $$$ Dog Point Section '94 is Wine of the Week today, and this chardonnay isn't far behind. It has grapefruit, white peach, cashew and nut brittle characters of delicious, restrained complexity. Stylish oak is a shade edgy at the moment but will settle down quickly. Superb mouthfeel, real depth and finesse, and superlong aftertaste.
Ageing? Keep it for a year, then drink it over three.
Food Ideas: Salmon; chicken.
