Dog Point Pinot Noir 2007

Gourmet Traveller (Feb/Mar 2010)

2007 Dog Point Vineyard Is fine and aromatic, with black cherry and attractive oak on the nose and a touch of leafiness. There's a complex mix of sweet and herbal flavours, some sappiness and fine, dry tannins to finish. Hooke admired its "spicy characters and touch of chaff. It is a detailed, stylish wine with a lot of nuances. Slightly chalky tannins to finish." Campbell added: "Floral and an appealing light touch." The wine's ready now.
