"... Far too many people forget that Marlborough is so much more than sauvignon blanc, and the right people do it right,the results can be spectacular. The Dog Point chardonnay is a classic example. While the 2006 is was mightily impressive, the current release - 2007 - is the best New Zealand chardonnay to pass my lips this year. It's vibrant, complex and sophisticated, with real presence".
