From a pair of former Cloudy Bay personnel, this elaborate chardonnay grows in finesse and dimension in the glass. Yeasty, leesy, nutty complexities weave their way through nectarine-like fruit and a suggestion of barley sugar. It's refined and beautifully concentrated without heaviness, ending in a lip smacking tang. Ageing: Drink over two years. Food ideas: Roasted snapper; salmon.
