Dog Point was founded by two former Cloudy Bay boys who know a thing or two about New Zealand wine. This lovely, seamless chardonnay combined nectarine, rock candy, yeast lees and dusty oak characters in complex harmony. It's subtle and stylish, with excellent concentration and a perfectly poised tang. Ageing: drink over 2 years. Food idea: LInguine with crab; seafood risotto.
