The razor-sharp 2006 Pinot Noir exhibits a crisp Cote de Beaune-like nose and a vibrant, wonderfully poised palate that is imbued with great intensity thanks to its natural balance and tautness. Great wines – simple as that!
Since debuting with the 2002 vintage, ex-Cloudy Bay winemakers James Healy and Ivan Sutherland have been fashioning some of Marlborough’s finest wines under their label Dog Point and their 2006s were nothing less than exceptional.
